As a dog trainer for over 10 years, I've seen and heard just about everything when it comes to canines. There are a lot of misconceptions out there. The most common one? That it's okay to leave dogs home alone every day.
What some dog owners don't realise is that this goes against a canine's "pack mentality."
Dog owners who aren't aware of what pack mentality means are those who leave their single dog alone at home for most of every day, in a kennel, roaming the house, or tied up/in a pen outside.
