Obedience training is one of the nicest things you can do for your dog. Never think of it as being restrictive. You are teaching Bruno to live happily and safely as a respectable member of society, and may save his life. The basic obedience commands all dogs should know are sit, stay and come. There are many others, and you can have a lot of fun advancing the communication between you and your dog, but if you never teach him anything else, cover the three basic ones.
